Due to the introduction of ethanol into gasoline in our area, fiberglass fuel tanks (which Roger & Rod wisely thought would last forever) need replacement. May they never do this to diesel! I surgically removed the deck and removed/replaced the twin 50 gallon factory tanks with twin custom built 60 gallon aluminum tanks (might just as well balance weight with all that below deck room). I had the cockpit deck professionally set and fiberglassed in. I have pictures of the project from start to finish and thank Rod for his input and direction, problem solved. Everything below deck was replaced; tanks, hoses, clamps, wiring etc. If you are thinking of doing the same, feel free to contact me. Think Spring!!
